Generational preferences shape holiday party trends, with Gen Z and millennials leading the charge in attendance (82%), compared to Gen X and boomers (77%). Food and drink options are particularly influential for Gen Z, who are 20% more likely than other generations to be swayed by the menu and 31% more likely to stay just for the food.

On average, companies are allocating about $44 per guest on food and beverages, presenting an opportunity for refreshment operators to offer budget-friendly catering options that maintain both quality and variety.
