Primo Brands has finalized its merger with Primo Water Corp., an affiliate of BlueTriton Brands, Inc. The deal, first unveiled in June 2024, brings together two major players in the beverage industry, creating a stronger portfolio of products and distribution channels in the U.S. market.
“I am honored to lead our combined company and our team of world-class associates,” said Robbert Rietbroek, Chief Executive Officer of Primo Brands, in a recent press release. He also noted the company boasts a competitive portfolio of brands and is strategically positioned to grow as a top beverage company in the United States.
The combined company – which includes well-known brands like Poland Spring, Pure Life, Mountain Valley, and Saratoga – will operate under the Primo Brands name. It will continue to focus on healthy hydration, a market experiencing growing consumer demand. In addition to packaged beverages, the company offers water dispensers, filtration appliances, and 5-gallon jug exchange and refill services.
The company will maintain coast-to-coast manufacturing and distribution networks with the goal of long-term value creation and growth. Also of note is the company’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices. Primo Brands involves experts such as hydrologists and geologists to responsibly manage the springs, wetlands, and watersheds where they operate. Plus, the company looks forward to continuing its ongoing efforts to create a more environmentally friendly delivery fleet.

As previously announced, Robbert Rietbroek will serve as Chief Executive Officer, David Hass will serve as Chief Financial Officer and Robert Austin will serve as Chief Operating Officer of Primo Brands. Additionally, the company will maintain both its Tampa, Fla., and Stamford, Conn. headquarters.
