J&J Snack Foods Opens New Distribution Center in Woolwich, NJ

J&J Snack Foods recently opened a new distribution center in Woolwich, NJ, the Company’s largest single storage facility in the United States. The state-of-the-art, 212,000-square foot cold storage facility is strategically placed to optimize distribution across the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

The facility, which began operations in late 2023, can accommodate over 20,000 pallet positions for frozen food storage, including a unique “box-in-a-box” -45°F portion for 700 pallets of Dippin’ Dots beaded ice cream. With capacity to store almost 1,000 items at the distribution center, the facility houses some of America’s favorite snacks, including SUPERPRETZEL® soft pretzel products, and frozen novelties from The ICEE® Company, LUIGI’s Real Italian Ice, ¡Hola! Churros, PhillySwirl, Whole Fruit, and more.

The Woolwich facility is the Company’s second operated distribution center, joining a distribution center that opened in Terrel, TX in summer 2023. J&J Snack Foods plans to open a third facility in Glendale, AZ later this year.
