Five Star Breaktime Solutions, a leader in the breakroom market, vending and office coffee service industry, is excited to announce the acquisition of Cajun Vending of Houma, LLC. Cajun Vending was founded in 1993 by Richard Franklin, a retired Shell Oil Company employee, who, with the support of his son Dean, launched the business from his garage with just one account. Under the leadership of Derek Franklin, Richard’s grandson, and with the additional support of his mother Kathleen and wife Terra, Cajun Vending grew to encompass over 180 accounts throughout the greater Houma area, offering a wide range of vending and office coffee services.
Recently, Derek Franklin made the difficult decision to sell the family business to focus on spending more time with his family. However, his dedication to the vending industry and his loyal customers led him to seek a buyer who would continue the Franklin family’s legacy of service excellence. Five Star Breaktime Solutions emerged as the ideal partner, providing not only a seamless transition for Cajun Vending’s customers but also an opportunity for Derek to join their team.
