Steeped Coffee Introduces Simple Brewing Method With Single-Serve Alternative

Steeped Coffee has introduced fully compostable single-serve bags that replace the need for wasteful pods, expensive machines and time consuming brewing equipment.

This direct trade coffee, locally roasted in small batches, is precision ground, pre-measured in single servings, and comes in a special filter bag with a string and tag. Each portion is delivered in a fully compostable nitro sealed packet for freshness, essentially halting the coffee’s aging process so it’s like it was ground within moments.

With this new full immersion brewing method, all the consumer has to do is add hot water to the cup and the coffee steeps so they get all of the flavor, all of the body, all of the notes as intended, delivering a well-developed cup of coffee.

There is no cleanup, no noise, and when finished, the user can simply toss everything into the compost bin.

The product is available direct from the company, said Ron Scadina, vice president of sales. The product will be available through warehouse distributors. The company exhibited at the recent NAMA Coffee Tea & Water Show in Anaheim, California.
